Position summary: This position involves moving and storing materials, pulling and prepping customer orders for delivery in the warehouse. The role requires dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Pick glass orders using packing lists and receipts.
  2. Verify accuracy of loaded orders.
  3. Scan and label incoming stock and store appropriately.
  4. Safely load and unload products using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  5. Organize and store products and equipment efficiently.
  6. Inspect products at each stage of assembly and delivery.
  7. Repair damaged a-frames, replacing materials as needed for future shipments.
  8. Collaborate with the Shipping & Receiving Manager to complete tasks.
  9. Manage inventory and quality control within the work area.
  10. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  11. Cross-train for other workstations.
  12. Prioritize safety for oneself and others.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1 year manufacturing/production experience (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's License (required)
  • Experience with hand and power tools (preferred)
  • Attention to detail and time management skills (required)
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements, including overtime (required)
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions (required)
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) (required)
  • Problem-solving ability (required)
  • Ability to work independently or in a team (required)

Physical Demands:

  • Constantly stand and/or walk for long periods; frequently reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Support, carry, and maneuver objects up to 50 pounds constantly, up to 75 pounds frequently, and over 75-100 pounds occasionally with team lifts.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment:

  • Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts.
  • Noise levels are frequently high.
