Job Overview

ACEMCO Incorporated, a leading metal stamping manufacturer in Spring Lake, Michigan since 1946, is seeking manufacturing team members for first and second shifts at our Diversified plant. This entry-level position offers opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay: $16.00 per hour, with a $2.00 shift premium for second shift. Actual pay may vary based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lift and secure workpieces manually or load into automatic feeders.
  • Assemble components accurately and efficiently, adhering to quality standards.
  • Perform production and assembly tasks safely, following safety policies.
  • Identify and correct quality issues in welding, milling, pressing, or assembly processes.
  • Learn and assist in other areas as needed.
  • Replace worn machine parts such as weld tips.
  • Pack parts into containers as specified.
  • Maintain 5S and lean manufacturing standards.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform other physical tasks.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
Work Environment

Work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise. Safety equipment such as glasses, steel-toe shoes, and hearing protection are provided and required.

Shift Details

1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime including weekends.
