The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking Manufacturing Team Members to work at our production facility in Mason City, IA. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality-oriented and be willing to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent or 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Candidates must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts alternating days and nights, including weekends.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
• Background in a manufacturing environment or technical background with electrical, mechanical, or automation experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

• 12-hour rotating shifts alternating days and nights, including weekends and holidays.

Plant Overview

• Products: Refrigerated Ready-to-Eat Jell-O gels, puddings, and cheesecake.
• The plant runs 24 hours a day / 7 days per week. This continuous process is supported by four shift teams with over 200 employees.
• Non-union facility.

Job Overview

Manufacturing Team Members are OWNERS of machinery or equipment in multiple areas of the plant. This position requires individuals to perform manufacturing duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Operate and maintain equipment in the area in a safe and efficient manner.
• Read, follow, and update Job Task Analysis (JTAs) for work area.
• Perform quality checks as required.
• Ensure proper raw or packaging components are used based on product requirements.
• Actively participate in the facility’s safety compliance program.
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns.
• Sustain responsibility for preventative maintenance and sanitation in the work area.
• Ensure efficient operation of equipment.
• Communicate with co-workers effectively to ensure minimum interruptions in production.
• Responsible for following SQ requirements such as GMPs and other daily/job-specific duties to support QRMP.
