What Do We Need
We are looking to hire a Team Leader to join our East Mill team. This person will work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.

- The Trout Lake Farm (East Mill) is a manufacturing facility that processes organic herbs grown on our farms into high-quality ingredients used in Amway’s Nutrilite vitamins. As a Team Leader, you will be part of a collaborative team, learning all aspects of the plant’s operations. This role offers focused career progression with skill development and promotion opportunities.
- The East Mill operates seasonally, with 16-hour shifts (2 shifts) during peak harvest season (May – January) and 8-hour shifts (February – April). Weekend overtime may be required during peak times, with teams rotating coverage on Saturdays or Sundays weekly.
- You will help develop and support manufacturing strategies aimed at safely delivering consistent, high-quality, cost-competitive products to global customers. This role involves close collaboration with supply chain partners as operations stabilize.
How You Would Contribute To The Role
- Oversee daily work of your manufacturing team, support plant initiatives, and focus on process optimization. Support training, motivation, and feedback for team members. Manage shift assignments, staffing, performance standards, conduct reviews, and model team behaviors.
- Ensure a safe work environment that produces quality products. Lead with passion, demonstrate transformative results, solve operational problems, and deliver impactful results.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Associate degree or equivalent experience (High school diploma or Bachelor's degree)
- Preferred experience in food manufacturing, troubleshooting, repairing equipment, or working in a cGMP environment
- Experience in data collection and metrics tracking
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems (PLM, ETQ, Learn Share, Compliance Wire) and Microsoft Office Suite; JDE or Tableau experience is a plus
