Manufacturing Team Lead (KHMS) - 1st shift

Join the Manufacturing Team Lead (KHMS) - 1st shift role at Kraft Heinz.

Work Schedule

May require overtime, including weekends and holidays. The 1st shift runs from 6A to 2P.

Plant Overview

Located in Holland, with over 300 employees, producing products like sweet relish, mustard, vinegar, and BBQ sauce. It is a union facility under RWDSU.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and develop operational teams, coaching and mentoring team members.
• Act as SME to guide process areas and ensure operational capability.
• Facilitate communication between departments and lead shift planning and execution.
• Analyze data, identify loss opportunities, and lead continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with OSHA and GMP standards.
• Support safety and quality corrective actions, and participate in structured problem-solving processes.

Core Competencies

Knowledge of KHMS pillars, structured problem-solving, and process improvement tools. Strong leadership, coaching, data analysis, and communication skills are essential.

Prerequisites

Qualified or experienced in CIL, CLM, 5S, and basic problem-solving. Willing to become Yellow Belt qualified.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50-100 pounds with assistance, and working near moving mechanical parts with exposure to noise, chemicals, and other hazards, with appropriate PPE.

Qualifications
