Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is seeking a Team Lead in Round Lake, IL to oversee hands-on production in a fast-paced environment, focusing on quality and safety. You will supervise a team, coordinate tasks, ensure cGMP compliance, and drive process improvements while maintaining timely, accurate documentation.

Day shift from 6:00am to 6:30pm with a 12-hour schedule. You will collaborate across departments, train teammates, and uphold safety standards in clean room conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred with reduced experience requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to read detailed instructions.
• Ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists supervisor in coordinating, scheduling and directing other team members.
• Resolves issues related to equipment, process and compliance. Main point of contact for troubleshooting.
• Ensures timely and accurate generation of process documentation. Review documentation.
• Investigates any process problems timely and provide documentation.
• Assists with process/equipment validation and data analysis.
• Represents the department in cross-functional teams and Continuous Improvement Teams and assigns project work to team members.
• Trains and mentors other team members and monitors training by others.
• Will work in a clean room environment wearing special garments. Personal protective equipment must be worn due to safety requirements.
• Assigns tasks and develops work schedule.
