Job summary
Amgen is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Engineer in Holly Springs, NC to develop and align the site manufacturing data ecosystem with changing business needs and technology roadmaps. You will support automation and information systems across the site and partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, cybersecurity, and platform teams to ensure reliable, compliant systems.
The role requires expertise in DeltaV, FactoryTalk, BAS, ThinManager, and related platforms, plus experience with data
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with manufacturing automation systems in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of data management and validation practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage manufacturing automation and information systems.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot, and improve system performance.
- Lead lifecycle planning, roadmaps, and technical debt reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet GMP and cybersecurity requirements.
- Support capital projects, testing, validation, and startup activities.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical designs.
