Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Systems Administrator to own deployment, maintenance, and support of software and tools across manufacturing lines. You will ensure production systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for factory operations, collaborating with engineers, operators, and cyber security experts to support scalable manufacturing.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing IT, experience with Windows/Linux, virtualization, and networking, and a 3PM–11PM shift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Systems or Network Administrator in manufacturing or high-throughput environments.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration, server buildout, virtualization, imaging, and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network components (switches, firewalls, VLANs, routing, DNS, VPN).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, server, and networking issues in production environments.
• Experience with asset tracking, configuration management, and inventories of deployed hardware and systems.
• Strong understanding of security principles, including access controls, endpoint hardening, and secure network design.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to convey system status and risks clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware, servers, and software across the manufacturing line with full lifecycle management.
• Design and support network infrastructure to ensure low-latency, reliable production connectivity.
• Build, harden, and maintain physical and virtual servers for manufacturing apps with high availability.
• Monitor system, server, and network performance and resolve issues impacting throughput.
• Support deployment and integration of factory stations, endpoints, and production equipment with minimal downtime.
• Implement security controls, access management, and compliance across infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in time-sensitive environments and communicate updates.
• Document deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides; recommend scalability improvements.
