Overview

Position: Manufacturing Support

Location: Arcola, IL

Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with consolidating orders and distributing them to operators
• Consolidate WIP for assembly line throughout the day
• Assist with balancing final assembly line and support minor equipment repair
• Work with all operators to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Assist in the training of new personnel
• Assist in checking finished product quality to meet standards
• Multitask on your own with minimal direction
• Assist Lead in making sure material supplies are ordered on time
• Support the Lead to record production and scrap information
• Aid and assist Supervisor and Lead as needed

• Understand the steps of construction and quality standards
• Safe and efficient use of a single needle and multi-needle sewing machine
• Skills and experience to perform other sewing operations in the department
• Perform all functions/tasks within the Manufacturing Department
• Lift up to 90 lbs. repeatedly
• Bending, sitting or standing for 8 hours a day or longer during busy season
• Job may require lifting up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to work all mandatory overtime
