Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Supplier Quality professional in Camden, AR to lead rapid resolutions of supplier issues and ensure compliance with DoD-related standards. You will interface with Raytheon factories, analyze non-conformances, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

The role requires a STEM degree, RCCA experience, and the ability to obtain interim clearance in a U.S. government environment.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and five years of related experience.
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System.
  • Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • The ability to obtain an interim clearance prior to start date and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

What You Will Do
  • Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross-functional teams.
  • Represent supplier assurance as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier meetings, layered process assessments, and nonconforming material reviews.
  • Analyze supplied material non-conformance metrics and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
  • Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring accuracy of defect documentation, robust root-cause analysis, and corrective solutions are fully implemented
  • Assist with quarantine, containment and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System
  • Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings
  • The ability to obtain an interim clearance prior to start date and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required . U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test and delivery
  • High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.)

Clearance Information

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
