We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our friendly, professional, and highly driven Operations Team in Epping, Vic

About Us

Kingspan Water and Energy Pty Limited continues to be Australia's market leader in water storage, rainwater harvesting, wastewater treatment, and portable energy storage solutions. Kingspan manufactures, delivers, and installs custom-made steel rainwater harvesting tanks to residential, commercial, and rural clients.

The Role

Report to the Operations Manager VIC, you will oversee the efficient manufacturing of rainwater harvesting tanks, meeting production and safety targets. Hours for this role are typically 6.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6.00am to 12.00pm Fridays with overtime required on a regular basis

Your main objectives of this role are:

  • Interface between the production and management for production status
  • Manage team leaders and production workers to ensure the plan is met to achieve on-time delivery (line balancing)
  • Ensure production targets are being met and give advice to meet objectives
  • Ensure consumables and inventory are used and accounted for correctly and accurately
  • Actively engage with team members to build a high-performance team culture
  • Ensure mandatory compliance is completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure all employees on the factory floor adhere to WHS policies and practices
  • Identify, assess, correct and report any safety issues, risks, hazards and concerns
  • Maintain production housekeeping as per the 5S set of tools to ensure material and products are not misplaced and are in an organised manner
  • Provide technical assistance in manufacturing for continual process improvement
  • Operate machinery and plant in safe manner
  • Model behaviours consistent with Company Values

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor in the building manufacturing industry
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Strong understanding of production processes, equipment and safety standards
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with adaptable communication style
