Job summary

Nordson Medical is seeking a seasoned operations/quality leader to drive safety, QMS compliance, and daily performance on the production floor. You will coach teams, administer reviews, and promote standardized work with countermeasures to achieve goals.

The role emphasizes NBS Next implementation, ongoing process improvement, and resource planning to meet internal and external customer needs while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant degree is preferred; in lieu of degree additional experience may be required.
• A minimum of 10+ years firsthand experience in an operation's or quality role.
• Experience in the medical device manufacturing industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable QMS requirements.
• Provide daily coaching, oversight, training, and performance feedback to the team to ensure all performance goals are achieved.
• Write and administer employee performance reviews.
• Promote owner mindset and employee empowerment by ensuring standardized work processes are established, followed and countermeasures are implemented.
• Facilitate NBS Next business model at the production floor level; educate and engage the team.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging participation among the production team.
• Meet daily tooling, material, schedule, and PM requirements.
• Identify resources to meet internal and external customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to processes and procedures.
• Monitor production processes and update as necessary.
• Lead or delegate SQDIPC meetings and activities.
• Review and approve PTO requests and timecards.
• Provide a monthly department status.
