Position Summary

The Weekend Day Shift (Fri/Sat/Sun 7am-7pm and every other Monday 7am-3pm) Manufacturing Supervisor oversees daily operations to ensure products are manufactured within cGMP, safety regulations, and company policies. This is an entry-level supervisory role providing routine technical support and decision-making within a defined area.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct shift operations, ensuring product integrity according to schedule, cGMP, and safety standards.
• Maintain floor presence to minimize discrepancies and promote compliance and proper documentation.
• Participate in troubleshooting processes to correct and maintain optimal process parameters.
• Serve as initial contact for partner groups (Maintenance, Quality, Tech Support), addressing process deviations and documentation errors.
• Operate all equipment and lead processes to meet production schedules.
• Recommend and implement improvements in production methods, equipment, layout, and quality.
• Manage employee performance, coaching and counseling for development.
• Ensure timely and effective employee training.
• Make independent decisions within a well-defined scope.
• Consult with field experts as needed.

Qualifications

Work Environment

Office and manufacturing settings with exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, machinery, and noise. Protective gear required. Physical activities include sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 35 lbs), and occasional driving.
