Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Dubuque, IA to lead production, ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

You will coordinate equipment and staff, implement improvements, train employees, and maintain production records. The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Education/GED.
• Five to seven years in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• At least three years of supervisory experience.
• Willing to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Packaging industry experience; knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise equipment and personnel to optimize safety, quality, productivity and spoilage.
• Communicate changes to equipment, schedules and production problems across shifts.
• Identify solutions and implement fixes on machinery and equipment issues.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to employees as needed.
• Maintain production records, time and attendance, and quality documentation.
