Job summary

Penmac Staffing is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees safety, production performance, employee supervision, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s preferred), 3–5 years of supervisory experience, 2nd shift management, lean manufacturing expertise, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience managing a 2nd shift operation.
• Lean manufacturing experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Union manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce safety programs and procedures.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production employees.
• Set and communicate production goals.
• Schedule work and monitor productivity.
• Manage attendance, performance reviews, and documentation.
• Resolve production and employee issues.
• Ensure quality standards and operating procedures are followed.
• Support equipment maintenance and machine uptime.
• Promote 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain ISO compliance and cross-training programs.
