Essex Solutions USA LLC currently seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor for our Fort Wayne facility. The role oversees the assigned shift, allocates tasks, coordinates maintenance, and drives safety and quality initiatives to meet plant objectives.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and communications skills, hands-on experience with process equipment, and a track record of supervising manufacturing teams.

Formación

• High school graduate.
• Three or more years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5-7 years in manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people.
• Ability to work continuous shift schedule and required overtime.
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing environment.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in management, Engineering or other related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises the employees on assigned shift, including job assignments, maintenance, training, safety and quality activities.
• Actively participates in safety, productivity and quality initiatives.
• Provides leadership on assigned shift, troubleshooting processes and championing efforts toward overall plant objectives.
• Conductsinternal investigations and as required and provide information and documentation as required to plant management.
• Responsible for all compliance activity (Safety Champion) in assigned functional safety area(s).
• Ensures compliance on assigned shift with all Company policies and procedures
• Ensures shift activities comply with all established SOP's.
• Ensures compliance with ISO standards in assigned areas.
• Participates in and conforms to the requirements of the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Responsible for direct supervision of the Lab Personnel and direct supervision of maintenance personnel on the off shifts.
• Complies with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
• Trains new and transferred personnel in assigned duties.
• Trains and instructs departmental personnel in the new procedures, safe methods, and other areas of job performance and quality.
• Collectsdata and prepares reports as assigned to provide management with information concerning the productive efforts of assigned areas of responsibility.
• Participates in problem solving efforts directed at safety, quality, and productivity improvements.

  responsibility.
• Participates in problem solving efforts directed at safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Fosters employee involvement to improve communications and to facilitate methods and procedural improvements.
• Maintains discipline through administration of plant rules and company policies.

• Three or more years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5-7 years in manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate the work force.
• Some lifting required.
• Ability to stand and walk the majority of the shift.
• Operate mechanical equipment as required.
• Ability to conduct safety and training meetings.
• 5-7 years in chemical processing facility.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in manufacturingenvironment with demonstrated ability to effectively lead a manufacturing shift.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in management, Engineering or other related discipline.
