Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee operations, ensuring targets are met with high quality and a safe work environment.

You will lead a team, monitor processes, and coordinate with engineering and QA to drive efficiencies and lean improvements. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of manufacturing associates to achieve daily production goals.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and output.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, quality control standards, and company policies.
• Schedule and assign work tasks, manage employee time and attendance, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor utilization.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
