Alliance Resource Group is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant for our Ontario, California client in manufacturing. The role starts with accounts payable and expands to general ledger, reconciliations, and internal controls in an ERP environment.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP Business One. This on-site position offers growth within a growing finance organization and close collaboration with the CFO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• Five or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Meaningful hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience working with an ERP system required.
• SAP Business One experience preferred; demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems will be considered.
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and lookup functions.

Responsabilités

• Own the accounts payable function daily.
• Code and process vendor invoices accurately.
• Coordinate invoice approvals and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and support payment processing.
• Assist with centralizing invoicing across multiple entities.
• Perform account, bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and post general ledger entries.
• Support month-end close activities as responsibilities expand.
• Gradually assume additional accounting duties.
• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records within SAP Business One.
• Use Excel to organize, reconcile, and analyze financial information.
