Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist for Starlink to help establish new production lines and support high-volume manufacture of home-user terminals. You will work across centers to load, program, and operate automated equipment, triage issues, and drive corrective actions.

The role requires adapting to tight schedules, strong teamwork, and disciplined documentation. Experience with PCB hardware and automated inspection/testing is preferred, with shifts on C or D cycles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in hands-on manufacturing; or bachelor’s in engineering, math, or science.
• Experience producing J-STD-001 Class 2, IPC-A-610 Class 2 or equivalent hardware.
• Experience programming, loading, and operating automated equipment: paste printer, SPI, pick and place, reflow oven, AOI, X-ray inspection, adhesive dispenser, BGA rework.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in shifts (C or D).

Responsibilities

• Execute new product introduction builds across all work centers.
• Program, load, and operate automated equipment.
• Triage non-conforming products and drive corrective actions.
• Resolve production issues ensuring design integrity, quality, and timelines.
• Perform process development and validation on new models under tight timelines.
• Ensure smooth transition from development to volume production.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost.
