Job summary

Lehi Valley Trading Company in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Production Operator to run the packaging line during Shift 1 (5:00 AM–1:30 PM) and Shift 2 (1:30 PM–10:00 PM). You will monitor machine performance, load film, and feed product to continuously fill and seal bags.

You will inspect seals, cuts, and fills for quality, clean and sterilize equipment, and troubleshoot minor issues. The job requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the willingness to work rotating hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and handle heavy materials.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work shifts.
• Good physical stamina and coordination for repetitive tasks.
• Experience or comfort with standing, walking, and climbing stairs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the machine and product flow to ensure proper packaging.
• Load large rolls of film to form and seal bags.
• Feed product into the machine for continuous filling and bagging.
• Inspect bags for proper sealing, cutting, and filling during the process.
• Clean and sterilize the machine and test sealed bags for quality control.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor adjustments or repairs.

Job description

Production Operator

Shift 1 – 5:00AM-1:30PM

Shift 2 – 1:30PM-10:00PM

The operator will monitor the machine and product flow to make sure the machine is packaging correctly. They will load the large roll of film so the machine makes the bag and seals it. They will also feed the machine with product so it can continuously fill the bags. They check on the machine to make sure the bags are sealed, cut and filled properly throughout the process. They will clean and sterilize the machine and test sealed bags for quality control. Will be required to trouble shoot issues with the machine and make minor adjustments and repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.


• Must be flexible with the schedule times and dates


• Must be able to perform considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.


• Will be carrying product while climbing stairs - balance is key


• Must be able to work with machines, walk on elevated surfaces and feel comfortable with automatic equipment.
