Job summary

EMAG Group is seeking a Manufacturing Solutions Sales Engineer in Michigan to translate prints and cycle targets into actionable system layouts and quotations. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and Sales to validate feasibility, risks, and profitability while supporting customer presentations.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years in technical sales or applications engineering in machining or capital equipment, with strong communication and travel readiness for domestic and international

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or a related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 2–5+ years in technical sales, applications engineering, or machinery/system integration in machining systems or capital equipment.
• Clear, concise communication skills for technical and business audiences.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RFQs, review prints and tolerances, and design conceptual process flows and layouts.
• Review feasibility with Engineering and Operations; surface risks and align on standards.
• Verify costs and lead times with suppliers; support pricing inputs and quotations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations on scope, costs, and risks.
• Define process steps from drawings; track new technologies and improve tools and docs.
• Attend on-site/remote meetings and deliver technically grounded guidance to customers.
