Monnit, a global leader in wireless IoT remote monitoring solutions, seeks a Manufacturing Solder Technician to assemble and solder high-quality electronic products used by customers worldwide. Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior soldering or electronics assembly experience preferred, but not required.
  • Technical training or IPC certification is a plus.
  • Experience using soldering irons and hand tools.
  • Ability to read work instructions and assembly documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work with small components requiring fine motor skills.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Hand solder through-hole and surface-mount electronic components.
  • Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Inspect solder joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform PCB rework and repairs as needed.
  • Accurately document completed work and inspection results.
  • Safely operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Solder Technician, you'll be responsible for assembling and soldering high-quality electronic products used by customers around the world.
