Lean manufacturing experience is desired and safety is a priority. The candidate will manage operator performance, train staff, and optimize use of equipment, while promoting continuous improvement and a safe work environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
• High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
• Shows initiative
• Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Shift Lead to be based out of Houston, TX. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for leading of an assigned team, ensuring assigned duties are completed on schedule and within the right specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure product is completed per the production schedule
