Cardinal Health is seeking an entry-level Technician I, Product Test & Calibration to set up, maintain, operate, test and inspect product and perform repairs on equipment in line with finished product specifications.
You will help minimize scrap, provide process information to management for optimization, and ensure production is maintained, with a 7:00 am to 3:00 pm shift, Monday through Friday, at our DeLand, FL facility.
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Product Test & Calibration sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment.
The role of the Technician I, Product Test & Calibration is to set-up, maintain, operate, test and inspect product, and perform repairs on equipment in compliance to finished product specifications. Minimize scrap generation and promote workplace safety. Provide process information to management so production equipment may be optimized and/or corrected. Facilitate workflow and ensure production is maintained.
Pay rate: $18.70 per hour
