Job summary

Elanco is offering a Summer 2027 Manufacturing Scientist/Technical Services Intern position at the Clinton, IN plant. You will support process improvements, learn fermentation, product recovery, finishing, and packaging, and collaborate across teams to reduce analytical variability.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a drive to learn and grow in

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a related STEM major (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar).
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) preferred.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand the Clinton manufacturing environment and collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems.
• Work in cross-functional teams to implement process or lab improvements.
• Learn about fermentation, product recovery, finishing, or packaging processes.
• Create and use data visualization tools and update documentation.
