Job summary

Hamrick's Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Scheduling Associate to analyze sales input and assign production dozens to styles within the company’s own product line.

You will coordinate fabric allocation, scheduling details, and production scales to ensure sewing plants receive precise instructions. The role works closely with the VP of Manufacturing, Sourcing Manager, sewing plant vendors, and fabric vendors to resolve scheduling and production issues.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to numerical accuracy and detail.
• Ability to understand yields and evaluate fabric quantities for production needs.
• Ability to recognize discrepancies and adjust accordingly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for scheduling data entry, tracking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales input and assign production dozens across styles within the company’s own product line.
• Break down fabric requirements and allocate fabric to styles based on quantities and yields.
• Prepare and send accurate production breakdowns and scale information to sewing plants.
• Obtain information from fabric vendors to support scheduling and fabric allocation decisions.
• Identify practical solutions to production, fabric, and system-related problems.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and supporting documentation.
• Receive, evaluate, and communicate plant concerns and requests for assistance.
• Escalate delays, special orders, fabric problems, and urgent matters to management.
• Exercise sound judgment in daily scheduling decisions within guidelines.
• Keep management informed of significant issues or changes impacting schedules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
