A day in the lifeYou start the morning by reviewing fresh demand signals and current inventory, then translate them into a right-sized production schedule inside the ERP. A quick huddle with purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics confirms materials are on hand and resources are lined up. Midday, you spot a supplier delay—no problem: you re-sequence work orders, coordinate with quality control to safeguard specifications, and keep stakeholders informed. By afternoon, you're optimizing run sequences to reduce downtime, updating the plan to reflect real-time progress, and partnering with supply chain to balance inventory—avoiding both overstock and stockouts.
