Job summary

Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc. in Louisville, KY, is hiring a Scheduling Coordinator to join our machine shop.

This role develops, maintains, and communicates production schedules to help meet customer delivery requirements while maximizing equipment and labor efficiency. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining, production scheduling, planning, or a related role preferred.
• Machine shop experience or understanding of machining operations is highly preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Epicor experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to understand manufacturing routing, job operations, machine capabilities, workload, capacity, priorities, and due dates.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive in identifying scheduling issues and adapting to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling and Capacity Planning: develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer requirements and constraints.
• Review workloads to identify bottlenecks and adjust priorities with supervision to maintain efficient workflow.
