Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Manufacturing Quoter & Estimator, you will be the liaison between our branches and our manufacturing facilities. You will develop an understanding of our manufacturing capabilities and processes. You will assist our Fastenal branch stores to serve their customers by offering custom solutions. Fastenal Manufacturing has nine custom machine shops that specialize in producing hard to source, custom machined or forged fasteners and specialty parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Ordering materials and scheduling subcontracting processes
• Quoting and scheduling production
• Estimating production times and tooling costs utilizing our custom estimating software
• Providing customer support to our branches

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• Possess manufacturing, customer service, office or sales work experience

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $55,000 - 65,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
