Job summary

Amcor is seeking a detail-oriented inspector to perform product inspections and ensure packaging meets customer specifications. You will follow safety procedures, understand the product line, and document results and scrap throughout each shift.

The role requires the ability to read and interpret procedures, maintain accuracy, and cooperate with the Lean and Safety programs. Previous manufacturing exposure is valued, and training will be provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills (written & oral).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to follow both written and verbal instructions and techniques.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times and report unsafe conditions.
• Understand the product line and potential defects.
• Perform production verifications at start of order and each shift.
• Conduct visual inspections at shift start and as per data acquisition software intervals.
• Record scrap accurately and manage scrap containers.
• Assist in machine startups, shutdowns and line clearances.
