Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Phoenix, AZ seeks a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to verify product quality during final inspection and in-process tests. You will approve finished products by reviewing PO, drawings, specs, and entering data into the quality database, while supporting compliance with GD&T and AS9102 forms.

The role requires HS diploma and 2–5 years of inspector experience, proficiency with measuring devices, and ability to document results and communicate adjustments to production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma minimum and relevant inspection background.
• Experience with measuring devices and quality inspection processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T and AS9102 forms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approves finished products by confirming PO, drawings and specs, performing tests, and directing re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing final inspection packages and updating the quality database.
• Completes delegated product release verification including documentation review and serialization.
• Maintains safe work environment by following standards and complying with regulations.
• Conducts first piece and in-process inspections.
• Inspects in-process production and communicates required adjustments to production.

Full Job Description

• Approves finished products by confirming Purchase order, blueprints / drawings and specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
• Documents inspection results by completing Final inspection packages reports, summarizes re-work and waste, and inputs data into quality database.
• Complete Delegated Product Release Verification activities including a review of documentation, visual inspection, dimensional over-check, part marking and serialization, and release documentation requirements.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• First piece/ In process inspections
• Inspects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production dept.
