Job summary

Base is hiring a Quality Engineer to uphold quality, safety, and reliability of manufactured components and assemblies. You’ll work with hardware design and manufacturing teams to define quality standards, control plans, and QMS alignment with ISO 9001.

You will lead RCA, FMEA, and actions to prevent defects, while improving production processes. A strong emphasis on documentation, audits, and cross-functional teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
• Experience with quality tools such as SPC, MSA, and analysis methods (8D, FMEA).

Responsibilities

• Define and implement manufacturing quality control plans across the factory.
• Collaborate with engineering to build design and process FMEAs and drive risk reduction.
• Support ISO 9001 QMS development and alignment with production and supply chain.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor KPIs and conduct audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
