Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in DeWitt, MI is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives and drive improvements across manufacturing processes. You will develop inspection plans, analyze processes, and collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from concept to launch.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in quality engineering within manufacturing, with strong knowledge of SPC, FMEA, 8D, and quality tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing.
Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).

Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for quality improvements.
Investigate root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from conception to launch.
Utilize statistical methods for process monitoring and data analysis.
Train production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
