Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Waterloo, Wisconsin manufacturing team. This role supports PPAPs, APQP activities, customer quality inquiries, inspections, audits, and new product launches for aerospace and defense markets.

You will work closely with production and engineering, read blueprints, perform first article inspections, and help maintain quality systems to ensure regulatory compliance. This is a permanent, onsite position in Waterloo.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with PPAP activities and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support PPAP documentation and activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Conduct first article inspections and dimensional reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production and engineering).
• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment.
• Address and resolve customer quality concerns.
• Support new product launches and perform quality audits.
• Participate in APQP activities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Waterloo, WI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $84000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
