Job description

Akkodis is Seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer contractor for the location of Plainsboro NJ. It is a contract Position for 6 months. Ideally Looking for a candidate with experience in the Manufacturing Industry.

Pay Range: $40 - $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Duties

1. Monitors, inspects, and evaluates products to ensure predetermined quality standards are met.
2. Develops and updates testing-related documentation, including test cases, plans, and flaw-reporting procedures.
3. Performs Quality and technical review of Nonconformance investigations (NCs) and CAPAs within defined timeframes.
4. Ensures investigations and root cause analysis are accurate and complete.
5. Maintain an accurate log of Non-Conformances and CAPAs activities.
6. Tracks, follows-up and assists in the timely closure of NCs/CAPAs.
7. Provides hands-on guidance and training to all personnel performing activities within the Quality system.
8. Ensure documentation is complete before closure.
9. Assist Quality Systems team as needed to investigate Nonconformances and ensure proper implementation of CAPAs.
10. Prepare monthly and quarterly metrics to present at Quality Review meetings.
