Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that support critical energy infrastructure globally. You will work with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to maintain robust quality systems, support inspection activities, and drive continuous improvement to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent in Business Operations, Engineering, Quality, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing operations preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence positive outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve quality issues efficiently and effectively.

  • Support the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies and programs.
  • Apply established quality standards to manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Monitor and report on quality activities, progress, metrics, and outcomes.
  • Perform daily tracking and observation of in-process inspection activities.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records.
  • Assist with audits, corrective actions, and non‑conforming material controls.
  • Promote a culture of quality through training and awareness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements.

Your Background
