Job summary

Salcomp Energy USA is expanding its US manufacturing footprint and seeks a Quality Engineer to provide technical quality support for its production lines under the direction of the Senior Quality Manager.

The role involves conducting routine tests/audits, compiling quality data and reports for customers, and aiding IPQC training while supporting QHSE certification initiatives to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent) is required.
• ASQ Quality Engineer certification is preferred or required where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (MS Office) is essential.
• Ability to work with all levels of quality personnel and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Under direction of the Senior Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will provide technical quality support to the manufacturing production lines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct routine periodic tests or audits on processes and products.
• Perform OBA/ORT as required.
• Compile quality data and create reports that are suitable for customer presentation.
• Help train and monitor IPQC personnel.
• Support QHSE certification programs.

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or related field.
• ASQ Quality Engineer certification.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
• Ability to work with all levels of quality personnel.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a similar capacity as a manufacturing quality engineer.
• Experience creating quality reports with Excel and Minitab.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile and SAP.
