Job summary

Wolfspeed in Durham, NC seeks a Project Management Engineer to support equipment installations, factory layout design and capacity expansion planning across Wolfspeed's manufacturing sites.

You will lead cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules and milestones, and report progress to management while ensuring alignment on needs and priorities for industrial engineering projects.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• MS preferred in related field.
• 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute equipment installations from need identification to production release.
• Develop and manage overall project plans: schedule, milestones, tasks; layout design.
• Coordinate with management and functional groups to report progress.
• Support 24/7 manufacturing and participate in production planning.
