Job summary

Raycap, Inc. in Kearny, NJ seeks a Project Manager for manufacturing to oversee projects from concept through production to final shipment, ensuring on-time delivery and revenue growth.

The role requires collaboration with sales, engineering, and production teams, reviewing customer drawings and RFQ inputs, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include scheduling, budget reviews, capacity monitoring, and compliance with ISO 9001, safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Project Management experience; electrical enclosure manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Smartsheet, and SAP.
• Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and RFQ documentation.
• On-site work requirement (not remote).

Responsibilities

• Works directly with customers to ensure information for project deliverables and other sales-related topics.
• Reviews customer drawings or concept drawings for technical input and transfers to engineering.
• Communicates regularly with customers and internal stakeholders on project status.
• Manages projects from concept through engineering and production to final shipment.
• Monitors production capacity constraints and alerts team members to issues.
• Collaborates with production, quality, and manufacturing engineering to improve scheduling and planning processes.
• Manages budget reviews and documents overages on active and closed projects.
• Participates in weekly production and scheduling meetings.
• ISO 9001 experience with process documentation and system audits; supports safety/regulatory standards.
