Job summary

ACH Food Companies, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer II to plan, execute and finalize engineering projects at the Argo Plant in Summit, IL. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budget and scope, and drive continuous improvement while upholding cGMP and food safety standards.

Requirements include a 4-year engineering degree and 4–7 years of relevant experience, with CAD/automation tool proficiency and ERP familiarity. This is an on-site, full-time role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year engineering degree
• 4-7 years in project management or engineering
• Experience with CAD and automation software
• ERP familiarity (SAP/Infor) a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion
• Knowledge of cGMP and food safety

Responsibilities

• Develop full-scale project plans and communications
• Communicate expectations to team and stakeholders
• Draft budget proposals and adjust as needed
• Manage scope, risks, and contingency plans
• Identify process improvements and Lean practices
• Collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, Supervisors
• Document post-mortems and recommendations
• Support plant operations and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and food safety
