Job summary
Friday Workforce Solutions in Rutherfordton, NC is seeking a Project Engineer in Manufacturing / Plant Engineering to drive capital projects, install equipment, and support continuous improvements in a fast-paced production environment.
You will coordinate projects, manage vendors, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and ensure safety compliance, while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable operations.
Qualifications
- BS Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline required.
- 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, plant engineering, or project engineering environments.
- Experience supporting capital projects, manufacturing equipment installations, or facility improvements.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; industrial automation and PLC-controlled equipment.
