Job summary

ITAC, a leading engineering and construction services provider, seeks a Project Cost Analyst to support a portfolio of capital projects within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.

The ideal candidate has strong cost control experience, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of ERP systems within industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or related field with 5 years of relevant experience; or 10+ years without a degree.
• Experience in project cost control, project accounting, or financial analysis in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts for capital and maintenance projects.
• Track expenditures against budgets and forecasts; identify variances and risks.
• Prepare cost reports and performance metrics for leadership and project teams.
• Review invoices and POs to ensure alignment with budgets and contracts.
• Coordinate with procurement, accounting, and project teams to reconcile costs.
• Assist in cost estimates and budgeting for upcoming project phases.
