Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4–6 years of experience.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM processes and related software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the efficient usage of programmed materials.
  • Provides advanced support to efficiently build quality products and meet market demands.
  • Study and recommend techniques to improve existing CAM and internal software products.
  • Analyze and determine the most effective material size for production and recommends alternative materials to engineering when appropriate.
  • Select and recommend tooling purchases for new equipment in conjunction with engineering and coordinates purchase of tooling with the tooling department.
  • Create and adjust complex CAD files and partner with engineering regarding design enhancements for cost improvements.
  • Troubleshoots varied and complex machine programming issues.
  • Partner across the team in product development, analyze complex data and determine recommendations for cost reduction measures.
  • Lead and mentor special project teams, working outside the scope of normal process to facilitate an accelerated schedule.
  • Supply management with detailed cost data for product pricing.
  • Create and adjust complex CAD files and partner with engineering regarding multifaceted design enhancements for cost improvements.
  • Develop and maintain software applications as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The typical base pay for this position ranges from $31.73 to $52.29 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
