Job summary

CCT Enterprises is seeking an experienced Manufacturing / Programming Engineer to join our team in Auburn, Indiana on first shift. This hands-on role develops, programs, launches, troubleshoots, and improves CNC machining processes to deliver repeatable, efficient production.

The successful candidate will balance quality, cycle time, tooling and cost while collaborating with machinists, quality, production, sales, and management. A strong problem-solver with initiative is essential.

Qualifications

• CNC programming and machining background with turning, Swiss, and/or milling experience.
• Experience with CNC programming software; Mastercam and/or ABILE preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and launch new CNC manufacturing processes.
• Set up and program CNC lathes, Swiss turning machines, and/or CNC mills.
• Troubleshoot existing processes and identify root causes.
• Improve processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Create and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
• Assist in training operators on new/revised processes.
• Review drawings, specifications, tolerances, materials, and customer requirements to determine methods.
• Support quoting by evaluating manufacturability and tooling needs.
• Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
