Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Manufacturing Program Manager Subject Matter Expert for a position in Palmdale, CA or Wright-Patterson AFB. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

You will perform a full range of DoD acquisition tasks, develop program documentation, review proposals, coordinate across organizations, support milestone planning, risk management, and prepare staff packages and briefings.

Qualifications

• 20 years DoD acquisition experience with a Master’s degree.
• Or 25 years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 4 years in SAP and/or SCI environment.
• Experience DoD 5000.02 milestones documentation.
• Acquisition program office on ACAT I/II.
• Experience producing milestone documentation.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish a full range of acquisition program management tasks.

Job Description

HII – Mission Technology is looking for a Manufacturing Program Manager Subject Matter Expert to support a position located at or Palmdale, CA or Wright-Patterson AFB. Must have a TS/SCI clearance.

• Accomplish a full range of acquisition program management tasks
• Assist with the development and maintenance of all manner of program documentation.
• Support the review of proposals and, as assigned by the customer, in a non-voting advisory role for program source selections.
• Support coordination of documentation between functional organizations inside and outside the program office.
• Support program milestone planning and preparation. Contractor personnel shall support risk management and process improvement.
• Support meetings internal and external to the program office.
• Support evaluation and communication of program progress in writing, in briefings
• Develop and coordinate responses to taskers in response to internal and external program inquiries.

Minimum Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years of relevant DoD acquisition experience and a Master’s degree; OR Minimum of 25 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience and a Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 30 years of relevant DoD acquisition experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Ten (10) of these years must have been in an acquisition program office on an ACAT I or ACAT II DoD acquisition program.
• Four (4) years’ experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment.
• Must have experience developing and coordinating DoD 5000.02 acquisition milestone plans and associated reporting documentation for one or more ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs.
• Experience preparing documentation, presentation materials, and staff packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisions.
• Experience managing the quality review and stand up of manufacturing capability in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Development phase.
• Experience managing in the Production phase on an ACAT I or equivalent development program to include:
• Assisting program offices with implementing and executing manufacturing readiness assessments per the DoD Manufacturing Readiness Level Guide;
• Government oversight of prime contractor and subcontractor manufacturing teams;
• Level III Acquisition Professional Development Program certification
