Waltonen Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to oversee manufacturing programs with emphasis on cost, schedule, and performance. You will direct planning, analysis of activities and expenses, and lead a team to achieve project goals.

Strong leadership, budgeting, and risk management skills are required, with travel as needed. The role demands hands-on experience in managing manufacturing projects, experience with automotive/aerospace fixtures, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; a

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project and program management methods and techniques.
• 2+ years of experience with automotive and/or aerospace fixtures.
• Understanding of machining, tool build, welding and CMM timing and milestones.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to fluctuating workloads.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, direct, and control manufacturing programs focusing on cost, schedule, and performance.
• Lead a focused program with strategic planning, expense and profit analysis, and goal setting.
• Plan and direct a team, monitor work, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure risk management is effective; create processes to identify and mitigate risks.
• Apply practical project management experience on manufacturing projects.
