Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
• 2+ years experience with automotive and/or aerospace fixtures required.
• Knowledge of machining, tool build, welding and CMM processes regarding timing, milestones, and deadlines.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads.
• Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Experience leading/following manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, direct, and control manufacturing programs. Lead in the areas of cost, schedule, and performance.
• Direct a focused program, including strategic planning, analyzing program activities, expenses, and profits, and establishing goals.
• Plan and direct a group of individuals, monitoring their work and taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure risks are properly managed and mitigated to avoid becoming issues. Risk management is critical to project success.
• The Program Manager must have strong practical experience in project management, gained by managing manufacturing-related projects.
