Preferred) Department: Engineering Report To: Manager , Program Management Location: Cleveland Sal ary : $80 ,000 Po sit ion Summary: The P rogram Manager is responsible for interfacing with the customers concerning their products and managing projects from prototyping to the production phase of the product lifecycle. Activities include the creation of the Device History Records (DHF) , routers and all other documentation required to ensure that product s are manufactured t o the customer’s specification. The Program Ma nager is also responsible for managing project changes, continuous improvement of production workflow, and providing technical support to the production operators.
Essential Functions:
- Directly interface with customer s as a primary point of contact for C ompany
- Discuss with the customer the schedules, development criteria, production issues, r eturn m aterial a uthorizations (RMA), root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Responsible for the creation of a ssembly d ocumentation, D evice H istory R ecord (DHR ), m anufacturing tooling requirements, p rocess workflow , and initial training of the production floor associa tes .
- Coordinate wit h Test Engineering to develop, install, maintain and qualify test stations when required.
- Troubleshooting of test failures and the creation of troubleshooting guides.
- Evaluate and communicate customer requirements, requested changes, and manufacturing issues to cross-functional departments to ensure tha t customer requirements are met and issues resolved.
- Directly interface with pro duction to resolve production questions.
- Lead the development of Production Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) for assigned p rojects.
- Write or review quotes and Statement of Work (SOW) for new projects or revisions to existing assemblies.
- Work with Quote Coordinator for quoting, cost updates, new assemblies, and development of a statement of work.
Education and Skills :
- BS or MS degree in Engineering , preferably Electrical.
- Str o ng written and verbal comm unication skills as well as good planning and organizational skills required .
- P r oficien cy with Microsoft Office suite and knowledgeable working in CAD platforms (Altium, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or comparable).
- Electrical circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting experience are preferred .
- A t least five (5) years of medical, aerospace, or industrial engineering experience, including customer-facing capacities .
- The Program Manager can expect up to 15 percent travel .
