This role requires a high school diploma or GED and a strong mechanical/technical aptitude, with 1–3 years of supervisory experience preferred. MS Office skills and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Skilled trades experience in machinist, mechanic, millwright, tool and die, electrician, or engineering is desirable.
• 1–3 years of production supervisory experience is desirable.
• Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to develop others and strong leadership capabilities are required.
• Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite are expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support employees in the production of metal closures.
• Ensure product quality, food safety compliance, and a strong safety culture.
• Learn and apply SPC principles, SOPs, and productivity standards.
• Manage equipment and production flow to maximize efficiency.
• Develop, mentor, and assign work to employees while maintaining labor contract compliance.
• Foster a positive workplace and lead with effective communication.
