Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 4th shift at the Circuit Card Manufacturing (CCM) EAST CCA factory. You will lead a 15–20 person operations team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

You will drive safety, lean initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and program management to achieve cost, quality, and schedule goals.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Supervisory, Leadership and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with a proven track record of lean / six sigma.
  • Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees
  • Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience in the aerospace/defense industry
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access)
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies

We have a high visibility opportunity for a 4th shiftProduction Supervisor EAST CCA factory with the hours for the 4th shift are 6:00am to 6:00pm on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Overall responsibility for a manufacturing operations team consisting of 15-20 employees. Lead team in a fast paced and dynamic environment to ensure products meet contractual quality, cost, and delivery requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production.

You will be responsible for a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvement projects. Engage in daily interaction with other cross business teams in Raytheon to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include: manufacturing engineering, maintenance, production control, finance and the program management office. Achieving/exceeding goals for cost, quality, delivery, safety. Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using CORE and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position. In this role, you will support deployment of manufacturing operations strategy, control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, production capacity, quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
